A fit for your everyday drink.
Typical container bases: 2–3 inches across. Up to 3.15 inches can fit snugly.
Shape and handle clearance also affect fit. Measure the lower part of the container where the fins grip, not the rim, overall width, or packaging.
Confirmed fits
Owner-confirmed fits include 7.5 oz mini cans and the Stanley Quencher H2.0 40 oz tumbler. This confirmation applies to that exact tumbler model.
The standard Coca-Cola can in our desk photograph is also shown physically fitted. These examples establish fit, not a measured desk-performance result.
Check the part that Steadi grips.
- Measure across the lower body. Check the portion where the fins will contact your drink, not just a narrow foot ring underneath.
- Allow for shape. A round, tapered base and a straight or irregular shape can seat differently at the same measured width.
- Look at the handle. A low handle may meet a fin before the container seats. A high handle can clear it, as on the confirmed Stanley model.
The sticky-note check, with a little room.
A 3-inch square sticky note is an approximate visual aid, not a hard cutoff. A little overhang may still fit snugly, up to 3.15 inches; check with a ruler and allow for shape and handle clearance.

What counts as fit evidence?
- Owner-confirmed physical fit: the exact 7.5 oz mini can and Stanley Quencher H2.0 40 oz examples above.
- Dimension-based estimate: a manufacturer’s explicit measurement of the relevant base or grip region can suggest fit. It does not establish that Steadi was tried on that container.
- Untested: a brand name, capacity, overall width, or shipping-box measurement is not enough to make a fit claim.
Other Stanley, Yeti, Owala, Hydro Flask, and handled-mug models are not confirmed by the examples above. Versions can differ. We do not publish a brandwide compatibility promise.
